Earlier this year, we invited five colour professionals down to our studio to ask one simple question: Why do they choose Directions?

‘It allows me to showcase my creativity’
Amy Walker is a creative stylist at Vanity Doll Salon (@vanitydollsalon) and proud Directions Ambassador. She chooses Directions because it unlocks her creativity and allows her to craft head-turning looks unlike anything we’ve seen.
Naturally, in true Directions style, we didn’t just want to hear from Amy – we were excited to see how she’d bring our colours to life on our model Izzy!

Paco showcased his remarkable talent in the studio, crafting ‘Sunset Rouge’ – a striking look that captures the essence of bold, vibrant colour.
Using Neon Red as the base, with touches of Poppy Red, Carnation Pink and Peach throughout, Paco created a showpiece as iconic as our model Jenna.

With so many colours to choose from in our collection of 46 fully-mixable shades, Amy Woods (@orla_salon) is another expert who relies on Directions to deliver spectacular results.
Seeing her work come to life in person was a real treat, and the final result was nothing short of stunning!
By mixing Apricot, Peach and Poppy Red, Amy produced ‘Peachy Bloom’ – a vibrant, show-stopping look that glows on our model Mia!
‘It lets my creativity flow without limits’
When hair artist and Directions Ambassador Ruth Wardle uses our products, she can tap into her creativity and come up with bold, unforgettable looks that wow her clients every time.
That’s why we asked Ruth to put our colours to the test. As you can imagine, the final reveal was a masterpiece.
With a daring blend of Bright Daffodil and Sunflower, Ruth transformed model Charlie’s hair into a radiant, sun-kissed creation called Sunshine that stuns from every angle!
‘There are simply no other colours like it’
Hair professionals don’t just love our products’ quality, range and creative control. For experts like Jeseca McMahon (@jesdoeshair_ ), the colours we offer are unlike anything else on the market.
So, we asked Jeseca to show us a look that could only be brought to life with our unique palette.
She did NOT disappoint. We fell in love with Green Envy, which she put together using Fluorescent Green, Apple Green and Spring Green. A spellbinding combo we can’t stop thinking about.

Taking our studio on the road
Shortly after hosting talented hair pros at the Directions studio, it was time for our favourite event of the year – Salon International.
This wasn’t just a great opportunity to see more incredible experts in action, it gave us the chance to chat with other colour specialists about their love of Directions.
For someone like Jaymz Rigby-Marsters (@jaymz.marsters), Directions is perfect because it’s consistent and diverse. For others like Sam Gaut (@samgauthair), our range gives him the freedom to exceed his clients’ expectations.
Of course, our colours aren’t just loved by professionals. So, in between the excitement of the live on-stage demos, we found the opportunity to ask some of our customers why they choose Directions.
From its ease of use to our deep range of colours, it was wonderful to learn what our products mean to so many.
